County Championship Round 4 – 2025

I’m staring out on the morning of Day 2, having had a rugby match to watch and write up last night. I can’t understand the logic of not having every team playing when both leagues have an even number of teams, especially when the weather can be such a factor. But, here we are and we have 3 Division 1 games and just 2 Division 2 matches. Coming back to this on the morning of Day 3 and remarkably one match finished on Day 2! Just 174.4 Overs wwere bowled in the match in Worcester, Durham is a very long way from the ground, happily there are lots of lovely places to visit in the area, but that’s a lot to take on board for anyone who made the journey! The other 2 Division 1 matches were wrapped up on Day 3. As was the match in Bristol, leaving just one match to go on Day 4. That lone match ended in a Draw!
