Welcome to another scintillating round of the County Championship – Kookaburra Style! Records were set and not necessarily in a good way! In Division 1 on Day 1 1758 runs were scored, only 22 wickets taken! As an Essex member and fan whose team had a very difficult game it’s quite hard to write about the endless runs scored across the country. At least this week there were 3 wins! And Lancashire got their first of the season!
