County Championship Round 11 (10) – 2025

With the T20 Blast done and dusted it was time to fit in a couple of County Championship games. The weather at the start of the week suggested there would be some rain about across the country. I was watching Day 3 of the match between England and India U19’s on Day 1 and at the theatre on Day 2, so I’m starting this on the afternoon of Day 3. The Kookaburra ball was being used, will I find massive scores across the board (I kept track of Essex over the 3 days of course). Well, one match was over in less than 2 days, so not in Taunton! I’ll start with that one! Results were a very mixed bag, with the most amazing result happening at Edgbaston! Rehan Ahmed and Tom Hartley have to be the players of the round! There were only 2 Drawn matches in this round!
